The project team were in Exeter to hear about the work conducted in Year 1 and discuss research and publications that will take place in Year 2. Four of our advisory panel members were able to join us offering constructive feedback and unique insights on our work.
Dr Paul Gilbert will be leaving the University of Manchester and the FAB-GGR team for pastures new in the public sector in Scotland. Dr Mirjam Röder will take over from Paul as work package leader and supervisor to Dr Zhongyuan Li.
Nem Vaughan is a co-author on a paper describing the new CMIP6 endorsed Carbon Dioxide Removal Model Intercomparison Project led by Dr David Keller, Dr Andrew Lenton, Dr Vivian Scott and Nem Vaughan. The open access paper describes the experimental set up of the project.
Nem Vaughan, Clair Gough, Emma Littleton and Detlef van Vuuren are co-authors on a paper published in Environmental Research Letters. The paper evaluates the assumptions about the use of BECCS in 1.5C and 2C scenarios.
